Edmonton Oilers' Colby Cave dies aged 25 after brain bleed

  • Forward had undergone surgery on Tuesday to remove cyst
  • Cave’s death does not appear to be linked to Covid-19

Edmonton Oilers forward Colby Cave has died after suffering a brain bleed earlier this week. He was 25.

The NHL club confirmed Cave’s death on Saturday with a statement from his family: “Our Colby was loved dearly by us, his family and friends, the entire hockey community, and many more. We thank everyone for their prayers during this difficult time.”
