Get Ready For Spring With These 13 Easy Outfits

Spring 2022’s fashion trends have been beckoning us since last September when the fashion week presentations were flooded with bold colour, dreamy dresses, and low key but luxurious separates. Though it may still be frosty outside, we can’t help but get excited about spring on the horizon and start planning our outfits for the upcoming season.

We’re determined to find a way to start incorporating spring-ready looks into our wardrobes as early as possible— even if that means just adding a few bright colours to our outfits here and there. This year is still all about easy-to-wear dresses (particularly the knitted variety), but co-ords and skirts (mini or maxi) have also risen their way to the top of our shopping list.

So if you’re looking for some new styling ideas to freshen up your looks for 2022, keep scrolling for our guide for what to wear this spring, plus a shopping list to achieve each look. Since most of these outfits revolve around classic everyday staples, we think you’ll also be able to re-create several of these spring outfits without spending anything.

Style Notes: Bring a ’70s twist to your spring outfits with a belted denim jacket and classic flared trousers.

Style Notes: There really isn’t anything more ethereal than a white shirt dress. Make yours spring-ready with leggings and ballet flats a la Linda Tol.

Style Notes: A tie dye top is an easy way to give your jeans a spring finish. Just add chunky boots for cooler days.

Style Notes: Quirky patterned trousers and a basic top create a foolproof spring look. Whether you opt for checks, tie-dye, a floral print or an abstract pattern (as Alyssa Coscarelli has done here), it’s the perfect way to add some fun to your outfit.

Style Notes: A cardigan is a spring staple in anyone’s book. Take note from Ada Oguntodu this season and pair yours with a denim midi over the weekend or comfy trousers for casual days at home.

Style Notes: Whether you’re going out or staying home, do it in style with a matching ribbed knit co-ord. Influencers all around the world are opting for neutral tones, just like TyLynn Nguyen’s ivory set here.

Style Notes: Maxi dresses are big news on the style agenda for the season ahead. Wear them with hair slides for a look that’s so current.

Style Notes: Okay, this is officially one of the chicest outfits I’ve seen in a while. Camille gives her classic ensemble a lift by pairing various shades of beige and lifting with orange accents. Very Parisian It girl.

Style Notes: Shrunken cardigans have become an influencer favourite as of late. Add a little sophistication to your look by pairing the item alongside tailored trousers instead of the usual denim jeans.

Style Notes: You can stay warm and still try spring’s trending colour combinations. Pastels keep the look fresh and light.

Style Notes: A jumpsuit is for all seasons but thrives in the early days of spring. Try yours with bold ankle boots or trainers and layer it with a roll-neck underneath on cooler days.

Style Notes: A good mac and jeans with a roll-neck are always go-to’s for transitional weather. Lotte gives this look an update with a snakeskin print and a beaded bag.

Style Notes: We’re looking to our school days for style inspiration this year and making like Megan Adelaide with a boxy blazer and cream pleated skirt.
