Hailey Bieber Found the Sneakers That Go Best With Puddle Jeans

If there’s one thing we can rely on it is that Hailey Bieber will always be right on trend. Over the past few weeks, the Who What Wear team has noticed a particular trainer is popping up on our fashionable friends and celebrities alike, and of course Hailey is all over it. Enter Adidas’ Samba, a flat silhouette which was designed primarily as a football shoe. Since being spotted on the likes of Bella Hadid and Lila Moss, the shoe has taken off, but Hailey’s pairing of the Adidas Samba and baggy jeans is one of the best combinations we’ve seen this season.

But it isn’t just a shoe trend that Hailey got so right this week. In one fail swoop she’s also nailed the puddle pant trend, opting to pair her Sambas with baggy, loose jeans that fall over the shoe and right to the floor. In true style icon fashion, Hailey’s look pushes puddle pants to a whole new level, and pairing them with Sambas is a winning combination. Plus, at a reasonable £75, these trainers are one of the more affordable trends that the fashion set is currently embracing. The hard part is getting your hands on them. Much like that Mango jacket, or the COS crossbody bag, this is set to be another set-stock-alerts style. However, if you don’t fancy checking every day to see if your size is available, I’ve found plenty of alternatives with similar silhouettes that work just as well with puddle jeans and more. You’re welcome.

Adidas Gazelle’s are a great alternative that also come in at £75.

Take the heels away and these will puddle perfectly.

The 70s colourway is everything.

Black jeans work just as well.

The retro style and gum sole give the same overall feel.

I’m a big fan of light wash jeans for winter.

An iconic shoe in its own right.

An investment worth making.

Navy makes for such a chic trainer choice.

Don’t overlook Uniqlo’s denim.

I’ll also wear these with a midi dress and cardigan.

A classic wash in a modern silhouette.

Totême trainers? Yes please!

The topstitching is nice touch.

Don’t be afraid to play with colour.

Ah M&S, you never fail us when it comes to denim.

This pair were made to pair with blue jeans.

The rips add a relaxed feel.
