Hailey Bieber Just Settled the Debate on Which Shoe Style to Wear With Flares

Hailey Bieber was in Paris earlier this week which means one thing: lots of good autumn outfit inspiration. She definitely delivered this time, especially with an all-black look that touched on multiple trends. Bieber wore a leather Harrington-style jacket over a black turtleneck but it’s her bottom half that really inspired us to to share this look.

Bieber paired the jacket and turtleneck with a special pair of skinny flare-cargo hybrid pants (that further prove that flares are back, in case you had any doubts). And if you find yourself conflicted about which shoe style to wear with them, just let Bieber’s feet be your guide. She wore a pair of pointy-toed boots (Balenciaga Cagole Boots, to be exact), displaying that they’re truly the perfect shoes to wear with flared pants and jeans. The reason? The elongated toe sticks out beneath the wide leg of the hem as opposed to disappearing beneath it. And while you don’t have to wear pointy-toed boots per se, we found several cool pairs for you to shop below, along with some of our favourite flares on the market. Thanks for another great styling idea, Hailey.

On Hailey Bieber: Philosophy Di Lorenzo Serafini jacket; Trussardi Wool Cargo Trousers (£516); Balenciaga Small Soft Hourglass Shoulder Bag (£1450) and Cagole Lambskin Buckle Zip Ankle Booties (£1250)

The ankle-length cagole is set to be a winner amongst the fashion set.

The block heel adds comfort for all day wear.

This taupe shade works just as well with blue denim as with black leather.

The pointed toe adds to the sleek composition of this pair.

Add a contrasting texture with this glossy leather pair.

H&M always comes through.

This fuchsia pair are so striking.

This pair fits and flares in all the right places.

Ankle boots and flared jeans work in perfect harmony.

The front piping and bold flare hems make this pair a real contender.
