There are a few things that are a match made in fashion heaven. Biker jackets and white tees, midi dresses and knee-high boots, blazers and jeans (and French girls are rarely seen without a bouclé jacket), but if there’s one thing we can rely on for inspo during the chillier months, it’s Alexa Chung’s seriously impressive coat collection, and there’s one style in particular that she wears on repeat.
With winter well and truly making its presence felt, we’re in for a cooler spring, and I’ve been looking for a great coat that will go with everything from chunky knits to slip dresses, depending on the turns of the weather. Thankfully, one of Alexa’s recent outfits was a reminder of just how versatile a belted trench coat is, and scrolling back through her archive shows her affinity for the structured, cinched silhouette.
