H&M Has So Many Expensive-Looking Dresses, Tops and Jeans Right Now

We all have the brands we turn to when we’re feeling a little uninspired with our wardrobes. Mine is H&M. Throughout every stage in my style journey (and life), from being a struggling fashion intern in my early 20s to becoming a bona fide editor, H&M has been constant and unwavering. I get just as much of a kick shopping there now as I did 10 years ago, and that’s something I can’t say about every store I bought from when I was 22.

Most recently, I indulged in an H&M shopping spree before heading on my first post-COVID holiday, and what I found on the website seriously impressed me. By the time I got to the end of the new arrivals, I had added so many pieces to my wish list I knew I’d inevitably have to whittle it down. The thing is I really struggled—there were so many expensive-looking staples I couldn’t decide between them. What a problem to have, right?

A selection of the items that went straight into my H&M basket.

While going through them with a fine-tooth comb, I realised almost all of the items I had saved fell into one of three product categories: dresses, tops and jeans. We all know how handy these garments are, especially on the days when you just don’t have the time nor the brainpower to style something more complex. (This, my friends, is my reality every day.)

Assuming you are also on the lookout for easy summer outfit solutions, I’ve decided to share my H&M wish list with you. Featuring the best dresses, tops and jeans from the brand, scroll on to see them, and you’ll never feel as if you have nothing to wear again.

This went straight into my basket.

Such a great colour.

So elegant. I think this would make a great minimalist wedding guest dress.

The most beautiful back.

I’d belt this and wear it with strappy sandals for a night out.

Imagine this with a blazer in a matching hue.

This neckline is key for summer.

Every dress collection needs a strappy sundress.

A mini you can style with chunky flat sandals and platform heels alike.

Broderie details always look expensive.

Summer in a top.

Crochet tops are trending in a big way right now, and this frugal option is one of the best on the high street.

The coolest set.

I have a think for muscle tanks.

Obsessed with this shade of red.

H&M is really delivering on co-ords right now, but this top will look just as good styled on its own with jeans.

A must-have for achieving the coastal-grandmother aesthetic.

The colour of this shirt is incredible.

The nice top your jeans need.

Chic, chic, chic!

I’ve tried on these jeans and really rate the fit.

Ecru jeans will make anything you wear feel more summery.

The perfect straight-leg cut.

I’m always here for an all-black outfit.

I’m petite and always look for ankle-length styles like this to lengthen my legs.

Honestly, I’m here for this entire outfit.

The slight distressing on these jeans gives them a cool, unbothered vibe.

Wide-leg jeans are ideal for summer, as they’ll be breezier than tighter-fitting pairs.

So classic.

Split hems are a major denim trend for 2022.
