H&M's Linen Shirt Has Hundreds Of 5-Star Reviews—It’s Just Been Restocked

A linen shirt is one of those basic wardrobe heroes that you end up wearing on repeat. It manages to feel polished, and relaxed at the same time—meaning it can take you from work to beach days to casual weekends throughout the spring, summer and even autumn seasons. Whether you tuck it into more tailored trousers, wear it loose with matching linen trousers, or unbuttoned over a swimsuit as a cover there’s just something about the a linen shirt that feels incredibly chic and timeless.

And the best part is, you don’t have to invest hundreds of pounds to find a perfect style that will last you a very long time. In fact, my favourite linen shirt (that I’ve already owned and put to the test for years) comes from humble H&M, and it clocks in at just under £20. The high street hero actually has a number of iterations of the linen shirt, from more luxe oversized designs to cropped styles—and they’re all brilliant. But if you’re looking for a classic not-too-slim-fitting, not-too-baggy version, the brand’s Premium Selection style is the one. It comes in five different colours, which are all normally sold out by the time the warmer season is in full swing. Luckily, though, the brand brings it back every year, and all five styles are back in stock right now for 2023.

It’s not just me that loves this shirt. Our deputy editor Maxine Eggenberger recently tried it on when she popped into store for our Great Try On, and came back with glowing reviews. And, of course, there’s the hundreds of positive reviews on H&M’s site that laud it as “THE perfect linen shirt” with a “great fit” that washes and irons really well. It’s true, I’ve put mine through its paces over the years, and it’s not shrunk or discoloured at all. Another great thing about it is that it comes in sizes XS to 4XL—thank you, H&M.
