As a Shopping Editor, it’s my job to seek out hidden gems that make you stop and think, That looks at least three times the price. So, when the opposite happens to me, I’m always blindsided. Case in point: one of my chicest friends recently whispered in my ear that the handbag I’d enthusiastically requested an ID on was from Amazon. Cue my immediate shock.
