I Honestly Can't Get Over How Expensive These H&M Autumn Buys Look

It can’t just be me—I had to do a double take when I saw these H&M finds because they’re just so good. Perusing the site’s new arrivals is a weekly activity of mine, and on my latest visit, I came across more than a few finds that actually stopped me dead in my scrolling. While most of these pieces fall under the £150 mark, I wouldn’t blame you for assuming otherwise.

As a fashion editor, I have a keen eye for spotting expensive-looking details, and since I’m always looking at designer clothing, I can easily spot those luxe details elsewhere. And the H&M pieces you’re about to see below immediately reminded me of something I would see at a luxury retailer, whether it’s a well-fitting blazer, a cashmere jumper or a pair of polished wide-leg trousers. There was so many chic pieces on my last visit to the website, in fact, that I ended up ordering a number of autumn staples to try out for myself. You can read my in depth thoughts on those pieces here, but for now I’ve rounded up all the most expensive pieces in one neat edit for you below. You can thank me later!

An all-time classic.

This feels so unique for the high street.

I can say honestly, these feels and looks so expensive.

So chic.

Here for the nautical vibe.

How sleek is this co-ord?

I can imagine Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in this outfit.

Everyone needs a good white shirt.

Imagine this with knee high boots.

Dress it up with heels or down with flats, the choice is yours.

Designer-esque, but for a fraction of the price.

You can’t go wrong with a draped top this season.

Neutral slingbacks are a staple every shoe collection could benefit from.

H&M’s famously good bouclé jackets are back for another season.

Add a blazer and knee high boots in September.

Casual but still so elevated.

The perfect black wide-leg trousers.

Just add knee-high boots for a polished outfit.

Another winning skirt from H&M.

These trousers are so comfy and easy to style.

A capsule wardrobe staple.

This co-ord would look gorgeous dressed up with heels and gold jewellery, but it could also work in an office setting—or on the sofa.

Great as a combo or on their own.
