Louis Vuitton‘s latest release in fine jewelry is out today, expanding its Le Damier de Louis Vuitton Fine Jewelry collection with a new 8-piece addition in the luxury house’s signature checkerboard pattern, Damier (the French word for checkerboard), from 1888.
Earrings make up five items in the range, with large hoops in yellow, white, or rose gold, as well as two ear cuffs, a chain bracelet, an adjustable sliding pendant necklace, and a statement cuff set.
“Drawing on the collection’s hallmark interplay of gold and diamonds, graphic design and exceptional jewelry savoir-faire, the new pieces continue to transcend genders and generations, playing on the motif’s sense of infinity, not to mention endless opportunities for self-styling and personal expression,” the brand states in a press release. “With these eight new creations, Le Damier de Louis Vuitton Fine Jewelry collection now expands to over 30 different offerings, presenting a rich mélange of inspiration and self-styling options. Each piece is a testament to the House’s savoir-faire, innovative design, and the timeless codes of the iconic Damier pattern created over a century ago.”
