Ortiz voted into Baseball Hall of Fame, Clemens and Bonds fall short

David Ortiz, the Boston Red Sox legend who won three World Series championships and seven Silver Slugger awards, has been voted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens and Curt Schilling, all of whom were in their 10th and final year on the writers’ ballot, were not chosen for the Hall.

More to come.
