Phil Mickelson makes history with PGA Championship win

Phil Mickelson has won the PGA Championship, becoming the first player to win a men’s major championship after turning 50 and the oldest major winner of all-time.

The 50-year-old has now won six major championships, a total that only 11 male golfers have bettered.

Previously, the record holder for oldest major champion was held by Julius Boros, who was 48 when he won the PGA Championship 53 years ago.

More to come.
