The Toronto Blue Jays have traded outfielder Teoscar Hernandez to the Seattle Mariners, according to ESPN’s Jeff Passan.
Hernandez hit .267/.316/.491 with 25 homers and 77 RBI in 2022.
In 2021, Hernandez was named an all-star for the first time in his career and captured his second straight Silver Slugger award.
That year, he batted .296/.346/.524 with 32 home runs and 116 RBI.
Hernandez can become a free agent after next season.
The Blue Jays acquired Hernandez from Houston in July 2017 in a deal sending pitcher Francisco Liriano to the Astros.
