So Many Editors Own This Expensive-Looking High-Street Jacket

If there were a prize for the jacket trend that has had the most airtime over the last few years, it would have to go to the blazer. As someone who has around five currently sitting in my wardrobe, I can attest to its versatility, timelessness and ease. With its boxy fit and premium-feel fabric, my Arket wool blazer is a personal highlight (so much so, that I actually bought it both black and beige), and it seems as though I am not alone in my love for this particular piece, as I’ve spotted it on countless fashionable influencers and editors on Instagram.

Coming in a handful of cool colourways—currently black, beige, red, light blue, green and lilac—this blazer has certainly earned its reputation for being a classic wardrobe staple, especially since it’s pretty darn seasonlesss and available to buy at Arket year-round. A popular versatile styling hack is to throw it over a simple jeans and T-shirt look, but I’ve also seen other fashion editors styling theirs with shorts and fisherman sandals, over midi, maxi and mini dresses, or with the matching Hopsack trousers for a polished suit finish.

It truly comes into its own in autumn, though. Mine are from a few years ago now and I still wear both colours on repeat all season, usually with a thin cashmere knit either under it or tied around my shoulders, and I can honestly say they still feel good as new because the quality is amazing.

Scroll down to shop the blazer and more timeless Arket jackets, and see exactly how fashion people are wearing it.

Jessica Skye wears her trusty blazer with a simple slip dress and sandals—a look that will work for everything from weddings to dinner dates.

Lizzie Hadfield is a big fan of the blazer and is often seen wearing hers with a white tee and straight-leg jeans. So chic.

Lorna invested in the beige blazer, and I love how she styles it with straight-leg jeans and chunky loafers.

Take your cues from minimalist queen Alexis Foreman, and style the full suit with an oversized clutch and gold jewellery.

Kim proves you can throw it over your favourite mini dress while it’s still warm.

Hands down, this is my most worn autumn outfit.

Beige is a versatile classic.

The one to wear with absolutely everything.

I love light cornflower blues paired with autumnal brown tones.

This red version has been sold out all summer, but it *just* came back.

This one and the apple-green version are currently sold out, but we’re keeping an eye on stock for them to be replenished.

A classic trench to buy now and wear for years to come.

A cropped option for warm weather.

The ideal festival jacket.

Let this be the sign you needed to invest in a shacket. Light enough for summer outerwear and warm enough to layer up in autumn.

Warm and chic.

Arket’s Pufffers are famous.

This midi length Puffer is such a classic. It comes in other colours, too.

A great jacket for travelling in, as well as for wearing everyday.

I can’t get over how premium this coat looks and feels.
