The Biggest Autumn Beauty Trends, As Seen All Over TikTok

As the summer comes to an end, and the autumn season comes in, it signals time to pack away certain essentials and say hello to new ones as we welcome in a host of fresh and exciting ideas. And we know just the place to look for the upcoming trends: TikTok. The social platform has become the hub of all things trendy and what better place to look for new season beauty trends. It’s a live-time trend forecast, with the added bonus of actually seeing the trend on a face. With heaps and heaps of tutorials, I couldn’t think of a better place to look for beauty inspiration right now. From siren eyes to glazed skin, TikTok sorts between the flops and wins in terms of what beauty trends will be taking off this new season.

While traditional beauty seasonal change ups may look different in this landscape, some things never change—a dark vampy lip always hits differently in the colder season. But the great thing about TikTok is that it allows a space for creativity and a sense of functionality, leaving you with a bounty of choice, and access to play around with looks. We scrolled endlessly on TikTok—in the name of research—to identify the five beauty trends that will dominate this autumn.

Blue eyeshadow is the cool new way to freshen up your eyeshadow game. As well as all over TikTok, the likes of Taylor Swift and Kendall Jenner have been sporting the blue eyeshadow look. It’s giving ’90s and early 2000s vibes and with the spectrum of blue shades available, there is a shade to suit everyone. Opt for a pastel blue for a more playful look or a royal blue eyeliner for an a subtle injection of blue.

Enter the era of bleached brows, which is taking the TikTok beauty community by storm. With over 125 million views on TikTok, the #BleachedBrows look is here to stay. Don’t fret, bleaching your brows is only one way to achieve this look. If you’re not looking to fully commit, achieve the same look with concealer.

For dipping your toes into the trend, go for the lightest shade in a tinted brow gel, to give you a very subtle nod to the trend.

Turn it up a notch, and embrace the trend with a full coverage concealer to achieve the bleached brow look without taking bleach near your brows.

The only way to fully embrace the trend, you have to take it there.

It’s glazed everything, from skin to nails and now lips and we’re not mad about it. Also known as the ”brownie glazed lip” as spotted on Hailey Bieber, is incredible easy to achieve, brown lip liner and juiciest lip gloss and you’re ready.

Another TikTok favourite, the Dior Lip Glow Oil has a TikTok seal of approve for being one of the best glossy, long lasting and non-sticky lip oils on the market.

The NYX lip liner in Club Hopper is the perfect ’90s brown lip pencil.

And the siren eye trend is not going anywhere. Upgrade your regular eyeliner look with this sultry and dark vixen look, perfect as the colder and darker months draw in.

For a more striking finish, opt for liquid liner.

For that mysterious look, choose a brown pencil liner to give you a softer finish.

Think gems, glitters, sparkle, all things shiny, it’s all over TikTok and it will be a huge autumnal beauty trend. Sparkles are not just for festivals, and TikTok has been proven that. Personally, I am loving the face gems and have been adding a few stones around my eyes—it instantly adds glam to your look.

Bring on the sparkle, a little fiddle but pack on the glitter under a cream base to give the glitter something to stick onto.

Trust me, there is no going back from the face gems. .*Chef kisses*.

A good eyelash glue is key for keeping your gems
