These Luxury Beauty Brands Are Now on Amazon—Here's What I'm Adding to Basket

When you think of Amazon, luxury beauty might not be the first thing that springs to mind. While we would usually make a B-line to Amazon when we’re in need of a new book or an extension lead on next-day delivery, it’s not the first port of all for buying your luxury skincare serums and moisturisers. However, that is about to change.

Amazon has now launched Luxury Stores, a dedicated landing page on Amazon, which is about to change how we shop for premium fashion and beauty online. You can shop designers such as  Christopher Kane and Altuzarra, but most excitingly—in my role as a beauty editor—is that you can now shop premium beauty brands too. All of which you can access with the fast delivery that Amazon is known for. Plus, you know that you’re buying from a genuine source.

There are many beauty brands yet to be announced (watch this space) however, Dr Barbara Sturm—AKA, one of Hailey Bieber’s favourite skincare brands—was the first brand to announce its arrival on the platform. We can expect more to join on Amazon soon. In the meantime, these are the best luxury beauty brands on Amazon right now, and below are the products that I’m adding to my basket. Why not take a scroll and come shopping with me?

Not only are Dr Barbara Sturm products trusted by editors, but they also comes with a whole roster of celebrity fans too. SPF is one of the best skincare products you can invest in to protect your skin from the sun. You’ll want to go for at least SPF 30 or higher, and Dr Barbara Sturm’s come in at factor 50, and won’t leave a greasy finish on the skin. It’s ideal to wear under makeup and the dropper applicator means you can apply a generous amount to shield against UVA and UVB rays.

It does have an eye-watering price tag, but, it utilises both high and low weight hyaluronic molecules. Essentially, this means that each size molecule can go to different depths in the skin, so you get thorough hydration and plumped up skin. No matter your skin type or concerns, a hyaluronic acid serum is a must in any skincare routine.

If acne, oiliness or congestion are causing trouble, then reach for this mask to remedy the situation. With regular use, it helps to reduce sebum production (which can be a contributing factor for the formation of acne and blackheads) while zinc and kaolin clay mop up excess oil, leaving the skin matte but hydrated.

RéVive is loved by some of my favourite facialists and skin therapists. This particular product has been touted as ‘Botox in a bottle’ thanks to its peptide technology, which promises to plump the skin, reduce lines and wrinkles and repair the skin barrier. It’s certainly on the spenny side, and costs the same as a couple of botox treatments, but it has impressive clinical trials if you do want to invest. 100% of subjects had improved moisturisation; 97% of subjects had a reduction in fine lines and 97% of subjects had a reduction in deep lines and wrinkles after using this serum nightly for four weeks.

This is the brand’s best-selling night cream, which comes in a travel-size if you want to put it to the test first before investing in a full-size pot. Think of this as an overnight facial. It works by exfoliating the skin to reveal a luminous complexion while improving texture for that post-facial glow you’d get from a very expensive clinic.

If you can’t book in to see your favourite facialist, then you can replicate the massaging benefits at home with this very chic looking massage roller. On one end are two rollers, designed to cradle cheekbones and the jawline for a de-puffing effect, while on the other end is a smaller roller that is cooling to use around the eye area for whenever your eyes need a wake-up call.

Omorovicza is a brand inspired by Hungarian beauty traditions, including the ritual of its Budapest thermal baths. This cleansing balm is not only a luxurious ritual for removing makeup, but it harnesses Hungarian Moor mud, which is high in mineral such as calcium and magnesium, which work to draw out impurities from the skin.

This mask delivers a serious glow. It works overnight to dissolve dead skin cells, allowing radiant skin to shine through. It troubleshoots a whole host of skincare concerns, including fading pigmentation, reducing sebum and clear breakouts. Apply once a week and watch the compliments roll in.

This facial mist was inspired by the Queen of Hungary’s perfume in the 14th century, this mist is as indulgent to use as it sounds. Not only is it packed to the brim with skin-nourishing ingredients, but the nozzle delivers the finest diffusion of mist, making it a luxurious ritual after cleansing or to refresh your makeup throughout the day. I keep mine in the fridge for an extra cooling treat.

Pietro Simone is a new discovery for me, but after seeing that Pietro Simone has clinics in both London and New York, I suspect that these are definitely work a try. The brand uses an ‘Italian Bella Complex’ which features regional ingredients found across Italy that are known to be beneficial to the skin. Think tomato seed oil lipoactives from Puglia and Tuscan grapeseed oil, which is high in beta-carotene, vitamins D, C, E and essential fatty acids. This cleanser features the complex to leave skin silky smooth and comfortably cleansed.

This serum helps to stimulate collagen with a potent blend of peptides, while vitamin C and hyaluronic acid to brighten and hydrate the skin for a more even-toned complexion.
