This Frankie Shop Quilted Jacket Is Back and Looking As Good As Ever

It may be still officially be summer, but that doesn’t mean our fashion minds haven’t moved on. It is September and the UK, after all. It’s our job to keep on the cutting edge of all things trend-related for autumn/winter, but we wanted to tell you about the jacket that has been going strong since spring. The Frankie Shop Quilted Ripstock Jacket was spotted on every fashion editor and influencer last year, so naturally, the style sold out at record speed, but we are happy to report that it’s finally back in two new chic colourways. And now, there’s another Frankie Shop style to choose from: the Teddy, which features the same statement quilting and large pockets as the Ripstop but with upgrades including contrasting plackets.

Inspired by traditional army surplus liner jackets and coming in stylish shades of khaki, black, brown and white, this outwear gem is essentially a streamlined, cooler (in both meanings of the word) version of your trusty winter puffer. With a collarless neckline and oversized fit, it might be lightweight, but it lends itself perfectly to layering for in-between weather. It’s also light enough to be worn throughout the last days of Summer. Just take your styling cues from Tanice Elizabeth, and wear it with straight-leg jeans and ballet pumps.

So if you missed out on the khaki original, scroll down to see the new Ripstop iterations and the Teddy and to shop other similar styles (including some affordable vintage doppelgängers).

Still so fresh.

Keep it classic in black.

Iconic.

This new colourway is too good.

The perfect Autumn layer.

Hello, hero jacket.

We love this colour.

So good with ecru jeans.

For those in-between-weather days.

This one looks so much more expensive than it is.

Obsessed with the addition of the oversized collar.

Vintage versions are always a good idea.

So cool.

Try it in a size up.
