As much as I love swanning around in a dress, more often than not, you’ll catch me in trousers. Jeans, cargo, wide-leg—I’m a trousers girl at heart. So when a new pair is declared a favourite on TikTok, I take note. Affordable, well-designed, available in different lengths and colours: Uniqlo’s pleated wide-leg trousers are officially it.

Even if you don’t scroll TikTok frequently, you’ll probably come across this pair of trousers in some way, with the most-watched video celebrating them reaching over 2 million views. Aside from that trending bag, which remains a staple in my daily outfit builds, its affordable T-shirts, high-quality knitwear and cleverly designed tank tops with built-in bra also take pride of place.
