TikTok Makeup Artists Can't Stop Using These 12 Beauty Products

I’ll happily admit that I spend a lot of time on makeup TikTok. There’s just something oddly calming about watching my favorite makeup artists put on a full face and what they use to take it all off. Every now and then, my curiosity is also piqued by the products they’re using and loving that I *gasp* haven’t tried yet myself.

I know it’s hard to believe that there are products left out there on the market that a beauty editor hasn’t tried, but TikTok continues to prove my hypothesis wrong. I decided to poke around and see what my favorite MUAs are using and loving at the moment to inspire my next purchases. If you’re also dying to know what products popular users can’t get enough of, keep scrolling. Some of their obsessions are pretty new while others are unsung heroes.

Makeup artist Meredith Duxbury had a lot to say about this new brightening moisturizer from Sunday Riley on TikTok. Firstly, the gorgeous sunny yellow shade comes from marigolds in the formula. It’s also formulated with advanced vitamin C and sodium hyaluronate to lock in moisture, brighten, and even out your skin tone.

In one TikTok video, Duxbury also raved about Charlotte Tilbury’s new cream bronzer which I was also lucky enough to get my hands on. It really melts into your skin so seamlessly and gives that megawatt glow you’d expect from any Charlotte Tilbury product.

TikTok creator @cutcreaser aka Vanessa Funes told me personally that she swears by this liquid liner from Makeup By Mario. “The Makeup By Mario Master Mattes Liquid Liner is super easy to use, glides on so well, and is [the perfect]dark black matte felt tip liner,” she shares.

Another favorite of Funes (and pretty much every beauty editor) is Rare Beauty’s Soft Pinch Liquid Blush. “The Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush in Grateful is such a good dewy liquid blush,” she says. “One dot goes a long way and I like to apply it against the high points of my cheekbones and the apples of my cheeks.”

“[This bronzer] in Bronzed Belle melts on the skin so well. It blends beautifully and it just looks so natural. I love applying it with my fingers and blending it out with a dense brush by using tapping motions!” says Funes.

“The Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint in shade 11 is my all-time favorite skin tint because it blends into my skin tone as if it was invisible—it matches so well! It pairs amazingly with my cream products and sets on my face as a natural finish. I love it!” says Funes.

TikTok MUA Emmy Combs reports that you don’t want to sleep on this Tinted Hydrator Foundation from Urban Decay. If you like a good no-makeup-makeup look, this hydrating option is just your ticket. It provides a radiant finish and is infused with kombucha filtrate and marula oil for extra moisture during the day.

Another product Combs sneaks into the mix is Laura Mercier’s Nourishing Rose Oil to prep her skin for makeup. This luxurious oil creates the perfect base for foundation, a tinted moisturizer, and even a primer.

Artist Damilola Pattrik Ade, aka @senorfenty, uses this highly pigmented palette. It’s a summer must-have with gorgeous shades like Matte Papaya and Shimmering Butterscotch.

Ade also swears by Sunday Riley’s Retinol + Niacinamide Eye Cream. It hydrates, smoothes, and restores the skin around the eyes with ceramides, a 6% retinoid complex, niacinamide, olive oil, and shea butter.

For concealer, Ade is a fan of the Too Faced Born This Way Concealer. It’s lightweight yet provides full coverage and contains alpine rose, coconut water, and hyaluronic acid to support skin health.

If you haven’t seen TikTok artist Annie Thomas’s out-of-this-world makeup creations, you’re missing out. Her stunning artistry knows no bounds having re-created looks straight out of Stranger Things, Moon Knight, and more. How does she take it all off though, you ask? She uses this cleansing butter from Wishful to break down even the most stubborn of theatrical makeup.
