Xander Schauffele wins PGA Championship to claim first major title

Xander Schauffele birdied No. 18 to win the PGA Championship and claim his first major title.

The 30-year-old shot a 6-under 65 in the final round to stave off a crowded pack behind him.

Schauffele finished at -21, one stroke ahead of challenger Bryson DeChambeau who shot a round-best 64 on Sunday to nearly force a playoff.
